Re-Release 2010

Here’s an early digital cover of the re-release of Upon a Wicked Time.

You’ll see some corrections that will be done before the final cover is produced, but I thought I’d let you see an early rendition.

More details later about the re-release of this, one of my more controversial books.

Seriously, isn’t the cover lovely?

That is on the all time favorite list.. I reread at least once a year..that has one of the most memorable lines ever… about reciting Ovid, while standing on her head, etc……. Tessa was just such a refreshing heroine I love her!!

It’s so funny that you would mention that line. I really agonized about that. But it was so true to the character that I left it in, and crossed my fingers. My editor didn’t say a thing. The copy editor didn’t say anything. And you’re only the second person to mention it. I did like Tessa – thank you!

Lovely cover, but have you noticed all the open dress back covers on romances lately? Especially the ones with laced openings half undone. Another trend I guess for covers but not sure how they get thru the sensors at Walmart, which is a huge book market.

I instantly thought that when I saw the cover. The second thing I thought of was – it’s red. Everything seems to be red lately.

The good news, however, is that this book won’t be re-released until probably April, at which time we will have gone on to another fad.

I like this cover. It’s eye-catching, but not as revealing as some I’ve seen. I think red has been popular for a while now. I like that title too.

When I was first given that title, it was in my “Wicked” stage at Avon. My previous Avon title had been My Wicked Fantasy. Frankly, I’m glad we didn’t continue the trend.
